Sergio Aguero announces his plan to leave Manchester City and rejoin former club Independiente in 2020

Manchester City's all-time record goalscorer Sergio Aguero plans to walk away from English football when his current contract ends.

The 29-year-old, who will celebrate his 30th birthday before this summer's World Cup, is tied to City until 2020.

Once his deal expires he intends to rejoin former club Independiente in Buenos Aires where he began his career before leaving for Atletico Madrid in 2006.
