Sammy Ameobi agrees new Bolton Wanderers deal

The 26-year-old has signed a new contract with the Trotters following his satisfactory performance last term

Sammy Ameobi has agreed to a new two-year deal with English Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

The forward joined the Macron Stadium outfit in August 2016 for an initial six-month loan deal before he signed permanently, with the deal expiring at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Last term, he played a pivotal role in the Trotters’ survival, featuring in 36 appearances and scoring four goals.

And after penning the new contract, the former Newcastle United man has expressed his delight to remain at the side.
