Sam Allardyce laid into his Everton players after a 5-1 defeat at The Emirates labelling his players 'pathetic' and 'crap.'
With Everton having now lost five of their last seven games in all competitions, Allardyce exonerated only his young substitutes Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Tom Davies and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford after his side collapsed in the first half, being 3-0 down after 19 minutes.
Allardyce said: 'I was angry. I'm still angry. I think accepting an instruction is part of a player's responsibility at this level.
'There were clear instructions today because there was a good performance by Swansea against Arsenal in midweek that gave them a good victory and we based our plan on that.
