Salah sets another record by beating Torres & Suarez to Liverpool goal mark

Mohamed Salah has set another record at Liverpool, with the Egyptian becoming the club’s quickest frontman to 40 Premier League goals.

Few could have predicted the impact a hard-working forward would make when arriving at Anfield in the summer of 2017.

A sensational debut campaign saw him find the target 44 times across all competitions.

Of that haul, 32 strikes came in the English top-flight and landed him the Golden Boot – to go with an enviable haul of other honours, such as the PFA Player of the Year award.

It was suggested early on in the 2018-19 campaign that Salah had lost some of his spark, as he netted just three times in 11 outings.
