Safa hits back and denies allegations made by former CEO Mumble

The football governing body has dismissed claims Jordaan interfered with the day-to-day running of the association between 2013 and 2017

The South African Football Association (Safa) has responded to allegations made by former CEO Dennis Mumble he was forced to leave the association by president Dr Danny Jordaan.

Among other things, Mumble alleged in his letter to Safa and its NEC that Jordaan interfered with his work during his five-year tenure as CEO.

Mumble also accused Jordaan of failing 'in his primary responsibilities to exercise his fiduciary duty of care, the duty of loyalty to the organization’s mission and vision, duty to act in good faith and duty of obedience to good governance principles'.
