Sadio Mane sets Premier League record for Liverpool vs. West Ham United

Sadio Mane has become the first Liverpool player to score in three successive opening in the Premier League since John Barnes.

The former Southampton forward bagged a brace as Jurgen Klopp’s side thrashed the Hammers 4-0 in Sunday's English top-flight clash.

Mane made history at Anfield when he found the back of the net before the interval, after being picked out by James Milner to double his side’s lead.

And the Senegal international added to his tally in the 53rd minute, with an assist from Roberto Firmino to become the first Reds player to score in three consecutive opening duels since Barnes' feat between 1989-90 and 1991-92.
