Sadio Mane insists Liverpool 'feel more ready' this season after 'resting properly' as he reveals he has had his longest holiday since joining FIVE YEARS ago... after admitting the last campaign was the 'WORST' one of his Reds career

Sadio Mane has insisted Liverpool 'feel more ready' for the new Premier League season after resting properly on the longest holiday since he joined the club five years ago.

The Senegalese forward admitted that last campaign, which saw Mane and Liverpool struggle for form as Jurgen Klopp's side finished third in the Premier League, 17 points behind champions Manchester City, was the worst of his career.

But Mane told the Liverpool website that he and his team-mates feel refreshed and rejuvenated after an extended summer break.
