Ryan Giggs has hit back at claims he had a poor interview with Swansea saying: ‘They did not meet my ambition.’
Giggs was a contender for the job at the Liberty Stadium after they sacked Francesco Guidolin on Monday.
The Welshman is keen to secure a management role after leaving Manchester United as assistant boss in the summer following a 24-year career at Old Trafford.
But Swansea appointed American Bob Bradley instead, saying that Giggs had an ‘underwhelming interview’ for the post, despite wanting to bring with him a backroom team which included former United team-mate Nicky Butt.
