Wales boss Ryan Giggs has revealed UEFA's plan to play Nations League triple headers which could spark a club versus country row.
Wales boss Giggs says UEFA want to cram three games into ten days during the international breaks in September and October, to allow the play-offs for next summer's rescheduled European Championships to be completed in November.
But the proposal would put Giggs and England coach Gareth Southgate on a collision course with Premier League bosses due to fixture congestion caused by the coronavirus lockdown.
Giggs told The Football Show on Sky Sports: 'I just have to plan a year ahead and hopefully for the games in September when the Nations League starts.
