Rodgers salutes Vardy after surpassing Lineker's Leicester goals haul

Brendan Rodgers saluted "hungry" Jamie Vardy after the Leicester City striker netted a brace in a 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town to overtake club great Gary Lineker in their scoring chart.

Prior to Rodgers' arrival at the club towards the end of February, Vardy had endured an inconsistent season, with Claude Puel's tactics doing little to help.

But, after scoring a twice on Saturday, the former England international has six Premier League goals in five games under Leicester manager Rodgers.
