Robert Pires has spoken to Alexis Sanchez regarding his Arsenal contract situation and says the Chilean 'doesn't know' whether he will sign a new deal at the Emirates.
Arsenal legend Pires, currently a coach at the club, says Sanchez is only concerned with football and admits he would like the forward to stay 'forever'.
Speaking to La Tercera, he said: 'I spoke to Alexis last week and asked about the renewal. He told me he didn't know, that he only cared to play.
'The renewal is not a subject for Alexis.
