Karen Carney and Rob Green are among a five-person panel judging the performance of Premier League referees, it has been revealed.
Up until last year, Professional Game Match Officials Ltd (PGMOL) assessed their own performance before it was determined that they could 'no longer mark their own homework'.
Telegraph Sport report that former England internationals Carney and Green are among those in the KMI (Key Match Incident) panel and there has been a slight improvement from last season, with a rise in correct decisions from 96 to 98 percent.
The identity of the panel members had been kept confidential.
