PSV Eindhoven and Tottenham Hotspur will meet in the group stage of the Champions League on Wednesday evening, with both sides aware that a defeat will leave them in danger of being unable to progress to the last 16 stage.
Both clubs have already lost out to European big guns Barcelona and Inter Milan in their group and are winless so far – fighting to stay alive just one of the many 'Groups of Death' in the Champions League this year – and know that a victory on Wednesday will keep their hopes of making it into the knockout phases alive.
