The Premier League has announced that plans for a bailout will prioritise League One and League Two, as the top flight said the lower two tiers are more heavily affected by lack of matchday revenue.
The 20 Premier League clubs met on Wednesday to discuss the controversial Project Big Picture plans, which were put forward by Liverpool and Manchester United last weekend.
The project, which had looked to help bail out the EFL, was rejected by the top flight and there will be renewed attempts to help the 72 clubs amid the coronavirus pandemic.
