Premier League star Glenn Murray and his wife have been arrested over an alleged £1.1million tax fraud.
The Brighton and Hove Albion striker's £2million home in Sussex was raided by officers, with computers and documents seized.
Murray, 34, and his wife Stacey were both arrested on suspicion of evasion of Income Tax and cheating the public revenue.
The footballer is also suspected of not paying VAT. Both have been released following their arrests at the luxury five-bed home they share.
