American tycoon Todd Boehly has set his sights on acquiring a Premier League club based in London, with Chelsea and Tottenham his preferred targets.
According to the Evening Standard, Boehly, who has a 20 per cent stake in the MLB franchise the LA Dodgers, is looking to add to his sports portfolio.
The report states the 46-year-old would prefer a shot at Spurs, who are the more valuable club at this moment.
It is thought Roman Abramovich values the Blues at around £2.5bn, but with their state-of-the-art stadium and training facilities, Tottenham can claim to be worth more than their rivals.
