Premier League newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion fear 'Grenfell Tower cladding' could have been used on their stadium and training ground

A Premier League football club is checking the cladding used on their stadium and training ground after it was revealed it was made by the same company who produced materials used on Grenfell Tower.

Brighton and Hove Albion FC are taking the 'added precaution' of re-testing the materials used in the construction of the Amex stadium and the club's training complex after the revelations.

It comes after the club said it was facing a 'huge challenge' to keep out smoke bombs.

Cladding used on both buildings was reportedly produced by the company Reynobond, which manufactured the panels used on Grenfell Tower.
