Premier League clubs will fight any attempts from broadcasters to fine them up to £750million should they fail to complete the season.
Sportmail exclusively revealed on Tuesday how top-flight clubs are on a potential collision course with their broadcast partners, including Sky Sports and BT Sport, if they do not fulfil their televised commitments before July 31.
As part of the current Premier League broadcasting package, which is worth £3bn over three seasons, Sky Sports have rights to 128 live matches while BT Sport can screen 52.
