Premier League clubs have been warned that they may be left to repay a mammoth £340million to domestic and international broadcasters even if the season is resumed with no fans.
Chiefs from all 20 Premier League clubs met on Monday to continue discussions over Project Restart, with the top flight intent on seeing the season completed.
Items on Monday's agenda included whether a select few venues will be used to host the remaining games, with a number of clubs opposing the proposals, claiming they would disadvantage their sides.
And BBC Sport reports that the clubs may be facing a big bill to repay domestic and international broadcasters, worth approximately £340million, even if the season safely resumes behind closed doors.
