Premier League clubs have been informed of proposals for football to return with a hotel lockdown plan, according to The Mirror.
Clubs are discussing a range of options with their players in hope of fulfilling this season's remaining fixtures, despite the disastrous effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
One idea involves players being put into lockdown in nominated hotels for up to six weeks while the final matches are played.
Clubs would prefer to host games in Premier League stadiums, but it is understood they could be convinced to play at club training grounds and neutral venues such as St George's Park.
