Reiss Nelson scored the only goal of the game in the second half, after a first period in which the Gunners' Championship opponents had dominated play
Mikel Arteta was pleased to see Arsenal learning on the job in their 1-0 FA Cup win over Leeds, beating a team which he says ‘batters a team every three days’.
The Gunners were played off the Emirates Stadium pitch at times in the first 45 minutes against the Championship leaders, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side looking far superior.
But Arsenal came back after some choice words from Arteta at the interval, and progressed to face Bournemouth in the fourth round courtesy of a goal from Reiss Nelson.
