Graeme Jones, West Bromwich Albion’s assistant manager feels that international football will help Ahmed Hegazi improve.
The 27-year-old featured as for Egypt in their 6-0 bashing of Niger Republic as the Pharaohs put their Africa Cup of Nations qualification hopes on track after a shaky start.
And Jones who was part of Belgium’s technical crew at the 2018 Fifa World Cup believes Hegazi playing for the north Africans will be of huge benefit to him than damage.
“Ahmed has got better and better every game. He has dropped into a back three and he’s got a greater understanding (of that role),” Jones said.
