Key plans on the safe return to football — which will be put to players — are set to be finalised at a cross-sport meeting with the Government on Wednesday.
For the second time following on from Friday’s initial summit, a cross-sport delegation will meet Government officials and medical officers to thrash out guidelines.
And it is expected that the talks will see proposals over training and the restart of the Premier League, should Westminster allow, put together for essential feedback from the top-flight’s stars.
The backing of the players is crucial, for obvious reasons.
