A number of top Premier League stars with contracts expiring in 2021 are causing headaches for their clubs, as the coronavirus looks set to leave them little time to sort their future when football returns.
As it stands, nobody knows when it will be safe to return to the pitch and top stars like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Leroy Sane and Georginio Wijnaldum all have contracts expiring at the end of next season.
Usually, this summer would be prime time to discuss new deals, before they are able to speak to clubs about free transfers from January, but the current coronavirus pandemic has left everything up in the air.
