Pickford signs new six-year contract at Everton

Jordan Pickford has signed a new six-year deal at Everton and says he wants to become a club legend in Merseyside.

The 24-year-old joined from relegated Sunderland in the summer of 2017 and played every minute in the Premier League as the Toffees finished eighth, earning him a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England World Cup squad.

He then nailed down a place as England’s first-choice shot-stopper ahead of Jack Butland and received plenty of plaudits as the Three Lions made their way to the semi-finals – something he feels he owes to his club.
