Senior representatives from the PFA, Premier League, EFL and LMA shared a 'constructive' meeting on Wednesday with regard to the challenges facing the game.
In a joint statement, the bodies indicated that although any firm decisions were yet to be reached, meetings would continue 'in the next 48 hours' on topics including player wages and the resumption of the current season.
