The Egypt international has been limited to game time since the arrival of the Scottish gaffer at the helm
Stoke City manager Paul Lambert has lifted the lid on why Ramadan Sobhi has not been a regular fixture in his team.
The 21-year-old has been afforded an appearance - a 94th-minute substitute against Huddersfield Town - since the appointment of the former Aston Villa boss in January.
Prior to Lambert's arrival, the former Al Ahly winger has featured in 16 games this season notching back-to-back goals in December against West Bromwich Albion and Huddersfield Town.
Last month, due to lack of first-team opportunities, Sobhi featured for Stoke City's U23 side where he scored a goal in their 3-2 win over Middlesbrough.
