Liverpool fans woke up to the exciting news on Thursday that their beloved manager Jurgen Klopp extended his contract with the club until 2026.
The German had previously stated that he would leave Anfield when his contract expires in 2024, but he has now extended his stay on Merseyside into a second decade.
Klopp's first match as Liverpool manager was on October 17, 2015, nine days after he was unveiled by the club as the successor to sacked Brendan Rodgers.
Having been 10th when he took over, Klopp has transformed the club in the six-and-a-half years since, leading them to four major trophies, including the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020.
