Ollie Watkins has signed a new long-term contract with Aston Villa in the week he was recalled to the England squad.
The forward has been in discussions with Villa since the spring but has now finalise terms and pledge his future to the club.
The deal takes Watkins towards Villa’s top pay bracket alongside players like Tyrone Mings, Moussa Diaby and Emiliano Martinez.
Earlier this week boss Unai Emery said: ‘Yes, 100 per cent confident (he will sign) because I think he is happy here and progressing. He is taking a new challenge on with us.
