Old Firm derby between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox is POSTPONED as ALL football in Scotland is off amid coronavirus outbreak

The Old Firm derby between Rangers and Celtic has been suspended after it was announced that all domestic and grassroots football in Scotland is off following the coronavirus outbreak.

After the Premier League and EFL made the decision to postpone action until April 3, the SPFL swiftly followed suit, ending the possibility of the latest Old Firm, scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Ibrox, going ahead.

The Joint Response Group announced the decision to postpone all matches in a statement.

'The Joint Response Group can confirm the decision of the Scottish FA Board to suspend ALL domestic professional and grassroots football under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA until further notice,' it read.
