No Man Utd player would get in Liverpool's team despite £711m spend - Saunders

The ex-Reds striker feels those at Anfield have "spent wisely" while rivals at Old Trafford have invested in too many players who are not good enough

Manchester United do not boast a single player that would get into Liverpool’s team despite spending £711 million ($912m) since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, claims Dean Saunders.

The Red Devils has invested heavily over recent years bringing in the likes of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.

Arch-rivals at Anfield have done likewise, with big-money deals for the likes of Alisson, Fabinho and Naby Keita completed over the summer as those at Old Trafford struggled to get fresh faces on board.
