The Spaniard was recently described as the Blues' version of Andrea Pirlo, yet he continues to struggle to earn a starting berth this season
He may be Chelsea's Andrea Pirlo according to Antonio Conte, but Cesc Fabregas simply cannot buy a start at the moment.
The Spaniard, who was compared to Pirlo in the build up to the Blues' Premier League trip to Burnley on Sunday, was once again named on the substitutes bench for the clash at Turf Moor.
Fabregas has impressed when turning out for Chelsea as a substitute, but he cannot usurp N'Golo Kante or Nemanja Matic for a starting berth in the middle of the park.
