'My best position is a winger': Raheem Sterling claims he is 'better when I'm next to the box' after being played at wing-back by Chelsea boss Graham Potter... but the England star insists he is 'happy' to try out the role

Raheem Sterling has no issues with his new wing-back role despite claiming that he is better when he plays 'next to the box'.

The England international has predominantly played as a winger throughout his career but he has been utilised in a variety of positions at Chelsea under Graham Potter - including wing-back.

Sterling, as a guest on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, hinted that he would like to play in a more advanced position and will need to be afforded time to 'figure out' his new wing-back role.
