Mohamed Salah's goalscoring exploits will count for nothing if Liverpool fail to win a trophy this season, according to club legend Ian Rush.
A stellar first season in English football has seen Salah, a big-money summer signing from Roma, hit the back of the net 36 times already, moving him closer to Welshman Rush's Liverpool record of 47 in a single campaign.
And the Anfield icon, who achieved the feat as part of Joe Fagan's 1983-84 treble-winning side, has laid down a challenge to the Egyptian by suggesting it's now time to turn goals into silverware.
