Mo Salah is on course for 35 league goals this season... Liverpool striker would eclipse Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez and hit highest total in 50 years

Prolific Liverpool forward Mo Salah is in the form of his life and on course for an incredible scoring feat.

After slotting four past Watford at the weekend, Salah's strike rate is 0.93 goals per game, putting the 25-year-old on course for 35 goals in the Premier League this season.

To put that in context, it would be the highest ever goals tally for a 38-game Premier League season.

If Salah reaches the 35-goal mark, there would be clear water between him and the next best total over 38 matches.
