Michail Antonio wins Premier League player of the month after netting four goals and notching three assists... while Nuno Espirito Santo claims the managerial prize after guiding Spurs to the top of the table

West Ham striker Michail Antonio has been named the Premier League's player of the month for August, while Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo received the manager of the month award.

The duo have enjoyed an impressive start to the season so far. Antonio scored four goals and contributed three assists as West Ham recorded wins against Newcastle United and Leicester City in the opening two games of the campaign, before drawing against Crystal Palace ahead of the international break.

Antonio's brace in the 4-1 thrashing of Leicester saw him surpass Paolo Di Canio as the Hammers' all-time top Premier League goalscorer, while his goal in the 2-2 draw against Palace was his 50th for the club.
