The 100-strong shortlist for the prestigious Golden Boy award for Europe's best young footballer was released this week.

Of course, the likes of Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland, Mason Greenwood and Gabriel Martinelli featured among this roster of rising stars.

But many names were less well known, at least to an audience that only follows the Premier League. These are some of the Golden Boy nominees you might not have heard of.
