'Maybe I'd be in the England squad if I'd joined Spurs' - Grealish

The Aston Villa midfielder was a key target for Tottenham, but the deal did not come to fruition, much to his chagrin

Jack Grealish has admitted his disappointment over his failed move to Tottenham from Aston Villa in the summer.

The England Under-21 international was a top target for Spurs throughout the summer, but no deal came to fruition.

Per reports, Spurs' first bid for Grealish was worth £3 million plus young midfielder Joshua Onomah, and Steve Bruce subsequently claimed that the Premier League club were "nowhere near" Villa's valuation.
