Mauricio Pochettino has allayed fears about Harry Kane’s withdrawal from the England squad by insisting that the striker will be fit to face rivals Arsenal in their next match.
Kane was expected to join up with Gareth Southgate’s squad to play some part in the high-profile friendlies against Germany, on Friday, and Brazil next Tuesday at Wembley.
But on Monday the Football Association announced that the 24-year-old was returning to Spurs during the international break.

Kane had previously been struggling with a troublesome hamstring that kept him out of Tottenham’s defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford 10 days ago.
