Matteo Darmian hints at Manchester United exit by praising Juventus: 'I miss playing in Italy... to be of interest to a club like that is important'

Manchester United outcast Matteo Darmian appears to have issued a come-and-get-me plea to Juventus by heaping praise on the Italian giants.

The 28-year-old full back has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and is set to be one of four casualties this summer along with Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Daley Blind.

Darmian, who joined United for £12.7million from Torino in July 2015, has made just two starts in the Premier League this season – playing 196 minutes in the competition.
