The Matildas have given the USA a scare in Colorado before ultimately falling to a 5-3 defeat in an enthralling friendly.

Though the US were dominating play, the Matildas found an equaliser in the 29th minute when Caitlin Foord picked Lisa De Vanna and the veteran made no mistake as she rifled the ball into the back of the net.
