Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer after the midfielder was released by Arsenal.
Alan Pardew had left room in his squad for another addition and Flamini's signing appears to fill a void left by Mile Jedinak's departure.
The defensive midfielder played 246 times for Arsenal, over two separate spells and remains in London with his new club.
Flamini will wear the number four shirt and has been immediately included in Pardew's 25-man Premier League squad.
