Mason Greenwood breaks his silence as he agrees to never play for Man United again after huge backlash over now-dropped rape allegations: 'I did not do the things I was accused of, but I accept I made mistakes'

Mason Greenwood has released a statement admitting he made 'mistakes' after Manchester United's announcement that his Old Trafford career is over.

The Premier League giants announced the result of their protracted internal investigation on Monday afternoon following his charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault, discontinued in February.
