Marseille are ready to rival Rangers for West Bromwich Albion's teenage striker Tyler Roberts.
The 19-year-old has been on loan at League One Walsall yet is out of contract at Albion in the summer.
Albion have now moved to offer him new terms, however, their initial delay has opened the door for Marseille and Rangers who know they can prise him away for as little as £300,000 compensation and have been watching him closely in recent months.

Both clubs are due to watch him again against Charlton Athletic next weekend as they look to formalise an offer for the Wales Under 21 international.
