Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal has opened up on his friendship with Manchester United counterpart Jose Mourinho — admitting his confrontational compatriot is 'very good when he is fighting'.
Carvalhal is preparing his in-form side for their Old Trafford encounter next weekend, and knows a surprise victory would boost their hopes of survival this season.
The coach has an added incentive when he goes up against top-four chasing United, having spent time shadowing Mourinho when his countryman was at Chelsea.
And the 52-year-old — who has impressed following his arrival at the Liberty Stadium in December — says although they have different temperaments, there are similarities between the pair.
