Re-signing players for increased prices might not look good business on paper but it hasn't stopped Manchester United from preparing to bring back England's latest international defender Michael Keane from Burnley just 12 months after breaking the world transfer record for Paul Pogba.
If the proposed £25million deal for Keane goes through this summer, it means United will have paid £114 million for a pair of old boys they sold for a combined £4million, even though they will recoup an extra £6.25million as part of the 25 per cent sell-on clause they negotiated with Burnley when they sold Keane in 2014.
