Manchester United set to net £7.5m from Michael Keane's move to Everton

The England defender made the switch to Goodison Park on Monday, signing a five-year deal, handing the Old Trafford side a tidy sum in the process

Manchester United may have missed out on defensive target Michael Keane, but the Red Devils are set to bag £7.5 million on the back of the Burnley star's transfer to Everton.

The England international was confirmed as a Toffees player on Monday, completing a switch worth around £30m to the Clarets.

United sold Keane in January 2015 to Burnley folllowing a successful loan spell with the club, inserting a 25% sell-on clause into the 24-year-old's contract.
