Manchester United's victory on Wednesday night means they have now won more major trophies than any other English club, overtaking rivals Liverpool in the process.
The Red Devils beat Ajax 2-0 in the Europa League final at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
And in doing so they claimed their 42nd major trophy - now one more than the Reds of Merseyside have in their cabinet at Anfield.
In their history, United have claimed 20 league titles, 12 FA Cups, five League Cups, three European Cups and two other European honours to claim bragging rights over Liverpool and the rest of the country's clubs.
