Nemanja Vidic has lifted the lid on his mindset as a professional footballer, admitting he would rather risk a broken bone than let the opposition score.
The Serbian is a Manchester United legend, winning the Premier League five times in his nine-year spell at Old Trafford, before moving on to Inter Milan to end his career.
In his latter years, Vidic struggled with injuries, and when asked what kept him going, Vidic told The Sunday Times: 'Pride. You can fix your nose, but if you let somebody score the goal your pride cannot be fixed.
