Manchester United are set to welcome back £20million defender Michael Keane to Old Trafford this summer by exploiting the sell-on clause they agreed with Burnley when he moved to Turf Moor in 2014.
United are entitled to 25 per cent of whatever fee Burnley receive for the 24-year-old Keane which gives Jose Mourinho a huge competitive advantage over rivals Everton and Liverpool who are also keen on the England centre-half.
With Burnley having to pay a quarter of Keane's valuation to United, it means they will collect more money by selling him to Mourinho for £20million than another club for £25million.
